Coach Newsome

My name is Marcus Newsome and I am a Fort Worth native, graduate from Eastern Hills H.S, the class of 1983. My journey as a student athlete (baseball) consisted of attending Mary Hardin-Baylor, Angelino Junior College and Texas Southern University, where I graduated in 1991 with a B.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology.

I'm married with four wonderful children. I met my wife at Texas Southern University and we have been together for 30 years. My wife Cheryl, is a Pharmacist for 28 years and also the Health Science and Dual Credit teacher at the Bill R. Johnson, CTE and Lamar University, teaching multiple subjects in Pharmacy.

Randall Newsome- Graduate from Texas Southern University- School of Journalism, Masters in Journalism from USC. Currently a Co-Anchor with WMAR channel 2 news in Baltimore, Maryland

Raven Newsome- Graduate from Sam Houston State- B.S. Kinesiology, two-time national cheerleading Champion. Professional Body Builder.

Ryan Newsome- Student Athlete-Aledo High School. (Football) Two-time state champion 2013, 2014. Attended University of Texas as a Athlete, Graduated from Arizona State University- B.A. Liberal Arts. Current Youth Pastor at Dr. Tony Evans- Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship

Reoni Newsome- Graduate from UTA- Theatre- 2022. Theatre Teacher at Crowley High School. Highlight- Disney Intern featuring the role of Princess Tiana.

I am a former student athlete with 30 years as a player and coach. Experience consist of High School and Select coaching in the DFW area. Specialty as an outfielder and hitting instructor.

Owner of Men N Motion, Men’s Clothing & Accessories in Arlington, Texas. Twenty three years in the apparel industry specializing in Suits, Casual Elegance and all accessories. Notable clients in the NFL and former MLB-Mark McClemore. Business owner of Pro-Ready/Character & Development Leadership Program. President of Fort Worth’s Finest 100 men. A Service organization specializing in community outreach, speaking platforms and youth enhancement.

My passion is Coaching and mentoring young men on their journey to a career in Aerospace Engineering and Introduction to Engineering Design thru the Career Pathway of High School to College/Career. My overall goal is to inspire all young men to achieve their professional and personal goals.
