I am a photographer and student based in England.
Photography is one of my passions and I love going out and taking photos as well as finding new editing techniques and overall improving my skills.
I use the Canon EOS 4000D/Rebel T100 with a standard 18-55mm kit lens, a fixed 50mm f/1.8 lens for close ups, and a 55-250mm f/4-5.6 lens for far away shots.
My love for photography began when I was just 11, when I used my Samsung Galaxy S9 to do close-up photographs of plants and flowers. This lead me to ask for a camera for my birthday so I could take better pictures. When I got my first real camera, the Canon EOS 1000D, I was intimidated by the settings (shutter speed, aperture, and ISO) and had no idea how to use it, so I used the Full Auto mode, and if a picture came out poorly, I didn't try to fix it. I stopped doing photography for around a year and a half before picking the camera up again to take pictures at Worthing and Leonardslee gardens, as I could choose my GCSE options, and photography was one I wanted to do, so I began taking photos again and taught myself (sort of) how to use the camera to get a head start. I still didn't know exactly what each setting did, only that the larger the number that I could change by moving the wheel (shutter speed) was, the darker the image would get. I didn't know that you had to hold AV and move the shutter speed wheel to change the aperture, so most of my close-ups were quite bright. Then, as I learnt more in Photography class, I got better and better and understood my camera more and more (and the fact that my school used the same camera as me made it a lot easier!). Now I consider myself to be pretty decent at this hobby, but I am still learning every day.
