When True Voice Project came to be, I was in it's first graduating group. It came to me when I was having the hardest time of my life, and I honestly have TVP to thank for making me who I am today. In TVP I got to be myself and share my feelings, and make friends who would understand me. There I got to be myself and learn not only music, but to make friends. Going there was basically my favorite time of the week, since it got me away from my hectic life. Adam Kishbach made sure everyone's voices were heard through the music we would perform, since he would always give us a choice in what music we sang. I love and always will love my fellow members of the True Voice Project!

Being in the True Voice Project changed my life! I loved being able to sing in a welcoming environment where my musical gifts and opinions were valued and heard. Going to rehearsals was the highlight of my week and the performance opportunities were so much fun! Being in TVP taught me so much more than just singing, it taught me about growth, love, and the true meaning of family. I absolutely love the True Voice Project!!

If you're looking for a community where everyone is connected through music, where it's okay to have opinions and ideas that are different from others', where strengths are praised and help is offered when you need it, where everyone is encouraged to simply exist and express themselves how they choose, then TVP is the place for you! It is a place where you will always have family and be pushed to do what you don't even know you can do. It is a place to get to know others as well as yourself. For me, it was the easiest way to leave any problems at the door for a couple hours every week and just do something I am utterly in love with and passionate about. You will be changed in the best, most memorable ways.
