Team 3952 is divided into 7 subteams - 4 on the "build" side and 3
on the "admin" side. Each subteam is integral to our success in
the FRC season and specializes in a specific category that when combined,
creates a competitive robot and expands our influence in the local
community. Each member has the ability to choose their own subteam
and can switch mid-season.
Handles the manufacturing of the robot. This may include learning/operating industrial tools such as the bandsaw, drill press, tap, horizontal bandsaw, etc..
Handles the CAD of the robot. This includes designing prototypes on Onshape, creating subsytems, 3D printing parts, etc..
Handles the code that controls the robot. This includes coding the robot during autonomous periods, tuning cameras, coding motors, etc..
Handles the wiring of the robot. This includes wiring the motors, drivetrain, and any other electronics that are used on the robot.
Handles setting up our volunteering opportunities and Impact Packet. This includes planning events, STEM fairs, etc..
Handles the all of our social media pages. This includes posting weekly updates, short clips, robot reveal, etc..
Handles the funding for our team. This may include organizing fundraisers, emailing companies, writing grants, etc..
