1Troop 835 goes on at least one weekend, outdoor outing each month. Depending on the type of trip, you’ll pack very differently. We’ve got printable guides below, so that you won’t forget anything. Remember, cotton clothing is always heavier, slower to dry, keeps you too hot when it's warm, and keeps you too cold when it's cool. Troop 835 knows that COTTON KILLS!

We welcome family members on our trips, but before you come along, read our letter to parents about camping with us.

We love the outdoors, and often our backpacking outings aren’t enough. If you are joining us on a day hike, you’ll want to review our Hiking Essentials document.

Note for all activities: Any member should feel free to ask the Committee Chair, the Scoutmaster, or the Treasurer, for a discount or a full scholarship on any trip, should there be a hardship to afford it. Never decide you cannot attend one of our events because of cost!
