Work with your Scout to begin putting together his Scout binder that will be used to organize his Scouting experience and keep everything in one place.
It should be at least a 2 inch binder with a cover sheet that clearly shows his name and our troop number.
It is a good idea to have a pencil pouch to house a pen and pencil in the binder as well as signed blue cards.
It should have several divider tabs – a minimum of 8
If the binder does not have pockets on the front and back cover, add a 3 holed folder so that there’s a place to put papers not already having 3 holes.
The binder also will need 4 “trading card” sheets that will hold rank and merit badge cards as they are earned and received at Court of Honors.
The documents to the right are great for getting and staying organized within the Scout binder. These are optional and are meant to be helpful along the journey.
