Scout Binder

Work with your Scout to begin putting together his Scout binder that will be used to organize his Scouting experience and keep everything in one place.

• It should be at least a 2 inch binder with a cover sheet that clearly shows his name and our troop number.

• It is a good idea to have a pencil pouch to house a pen and pencil in the binder as well as signed blue cards.

• It should have several divider tabs – a minimum of 8

• If the binder does not have pockets on the front and back cover, add a 3 holed folder so that there’s a place to put papers not already having 3 holes.

• The binder also will need 4 “trading card” sheets that will hold rank and merit badge cards as they are earned and received at Court of Honors.

• The documents to the right are great for getting and staying organized within the Scout binder. These are optional and are meant to be helpful along the journey.
