Fundraising

To enable and empower our scouts to participate in the hiking program, and all of the other activities they participate in, scouts and their families actively participate in troop fundraising. Fundraising by the troop provides every scout the same opportunity to participate in the same capacity with the gear purchased with the money collectively raised by the troop. 

Troop 719 maintains our ongoing Scrips Giftcards program, where we can raise funds by purchasing gift cards, while
retailers donate a percentage of what we purchase. Everyone can help us raise funds, just by going about their normal shopping!

Pancake Breakfast. Troop 719's iconic pancake breakfast fundraiser is held annually at the Gardena Valley JCI. It's also become an event for alumni and community members to reunite and socialize.

Restaurant Fundraisers. We also ask for help from businesses in our community, which have included:
