Troop 626 Meetings

Regular Meetings

We have regular meetings throughout the school year on Tuesday evenings at Tyee Middle School. Typically, the first meeting of the month is a Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) - see below.

Other Tuesday's are our regular Troop meetings where all Troop scouts attend and any visitors interested in joining can attend. Regular meetings typically include advancement related activities, planning for outings, and fun activities like cooking contests and patrol games.

Visitors are always welcome!

Regular meetings are usually at Tyee Middle School at 7pm on Tuesdays in the main indoor commons area. Check the calendar page of this website to get final location, time, etc. for each meeting.

Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC)

The first Tuesday of the month is usually reserved for the Troop Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) where the lead scouts meet to plan the upcoming month's meetings and outings. All scouts are welcome but not expected to attend. The scout leaders (Patrol Leaders, Senior Patrol Leader, Assistants, Quartermaster, etc.) are expected to attend these important planning discussions. The scout-led troop depends on all of the troop's scout leaders being involved in planning.

PLC meetings are usually at Tyee Middle School at 6:30pm on the first Tuesday of the month in the school library.

Troop Committee

The Troop's Committee meets at the same time as the PLC. Each family in our troop has at least one Adult registered as a Committee member. All parents are welcome at the Troop Committee meeting. This is where the adult leaders discuss troop business and ways to help the scout-led troop prosper.

Committee meetings are at the same time and place as the PLC meeting.
