WHO WE ARE

We are established under BSA (Boy Scouts America) and follow all their rules, regulations, procedures, and programs. Support for our activities are supplemented financially by the non profit 501(c)(3) established solely for the benefit of our scouts in Troop 1 Boys and Troop 2001 Girls - SF Scout Skill Academy.

We are a non profit organization established in 2022 under the corporate name: SF Scout Skill Academy. As a result of the pandemic and rising cost of participation in scouting for this region of scouts, Academy was established to help defray costs and promote Troop 1 and 2001's continual participation in the continued education of scouting in Troop 1 & 2001.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

SF Scout Skill Academy will enhance and educate, through organizations, agencies and individuals for the scouts of Troop 1 and Troop 2001 of San Francisco, California chartered under BSA Scouting, United States, their ability to develop healthy lifestyles through exercise and nutrition; build self-reliance, initiative, and resourcefulness; and understand and appreciate the performing arts and sporting activities.
