Mission Statement

Here at Troop 1 & 2001, we strive to provide a non discriminating environment where each scout obtains a traditional scouting experience, with emphasis from our Pre-Adult Program to help each scout be better prepared for the everchanging modern world.

Who we are

We are located in the Sunset District of San Francisco, with Scouts from throughout the Bay Area and some even OUTSIDE of the Bay Area. We are one of the larger Scout troops in the area and have separate Boys and Girls Troops (ages 11-17).

Since being charted in 2014, 100% of the scouts who have stayed with our program have reached the rank of Eagle Scout. 

We meet on Fridays 6:30PM - 8:30PM and Sundays 9:30AM - 1:30PM.

Although the majority of our Scouts are Asian American, we are open to all young people who strive toward becoming an Eagle Scout before the age of 18. We are currently at 46 members and still growing. Our information can be found on the Contact Us page.

In 2019, our Troop participated in a documentary documenting individual scout experiences and what it feels like to be an Asain American in scouting. This film was nominated as one of the finalists for Hollywood's film festival.
