Jack Frost Ski Trip - Friday, January 23 - Sunday, January 25
We are excited to announce our upcoming Troop Ski Trip from January 23–25, 2026! Here are the details:
Skiing Location: We will be skiing at Jack Frost on Saturday, January 24th.
Lift Tickets: Each scout and adult will need to purchase their own ski ticket. We strongly recommend buying tickets early to take advantage of current deals, as prices are often lower in advance. https://www.jfbb.com/plan-your-trip/lift-access/tickets.aspx
Rentals & Lessons: Ski and snowboard rentals, as well as group lessons, can be purchased directly from Jack Frost using the link above.
Optional Night Skiing: Jack Frost lift tickets are valid for night skiing at Big Boulder on the same day, if enough scouts are interested in night skiing, then we will take a group over, otherwise, we will just hang out at the cabin on Saturday night.
Lodging: We will be staying in a cabin at Camp Acahela, which is just a short drive to the mountain.
Cost: $30 per person for the weekend. (LIFT TICKET IS SEPERATE!)
Meals - Patrols will be responsible for Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Saturday. You should plan on buying lunch at Jack Frost on Saturday.
Please make sure to secure your tickets, rentals, and lessons early for best prices and to avoid last-minute issues. This promises to be a fun weekend of skiing and adventure.
If you have any questions please reach out to Adam Williams (adamlaurawilliams@gmail.com).
FYI: Mr. Evans, Mr. Williams and Mr. Kozielec are all Ski/Snow Sports Merit Badge counselors, so this will be a great weekend to earn the Snow Sports MB!
Note: The lessons are not yet available on the Jack Frost site. These should be posted soon per their latest emails.

Summer Camp at Resica Falls, Sunday, June 28 – Saturday, July 4
The cost of the camp is $645 for the week, this will include transportation to and from the camp, a summer camp troop shirt, food, merit badges, pretty much everything.
The Payment schedule is as follows:
February 1 - $100
March 31 - $150
May 15 - $395
Both our troop and Cradle of Liberty have camperships available for families that need them, just reach out if you have questions.
You can go to https://resicafalls.org/history to see more about the camp. It looks pretty amazing. Our troop attended this camp 5 years ago and it more than lived up to its hype. They offer tons of merit badges, and other adventures including ATV classes (for 14 year olds and up), cliff jumping into a river, hiking, fishing, shooting sports, canoeing on the Delaware. It is going to be a blast!
In addition to scouts signing up for camp, I need to know which adults are interested in attending and how many scouts they would be able to drive up and back to camp. It would be preferable if you have access to a large car that can fit 7-8 people. If there are 2 adults that would be interested in splitting a week, that would be possible. We will most likely need people that are willing to drive, but might not be able to stay over.
