PARENTS

1. Go to www.girlscoutsfl.org and click JOIN.

2. Register your daughter for the new Girl Scout Year.  

Girl Registration fee is $65.  This goes to Girl Scouts USA - not the troop.

2. • For Troop #, choose 902

   • If the Troop is not available - send an email to our Council with your Daughter's Full Name, Age, Current Grade requesting to be added.  Our council - Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida can be reached thru email customercare@girlscoutsfl.org or calling 305-253-4841.

3. We love to involve parents in our activities.  At least one parent/mom should register as well for the new Girl Scout Year.  (For Daisies, a parent is required to join and be at all events).  Adult Registration Fee is $30.

   • For Troop #, choose 902

   • For Role, choose "Adult Volunteer".  

   • If the Troop is not available, send an email to our Council - as mentioned in Step 2.

4. After completing your registration, check your emails.  

Complete the Required Background Check.

5. Purchase your Daughter's Vest and insignia.  Vest color is dependent on Grade Level.  See flyer below.  We have also created a very helpful Uniform Guide with links for purchasing everything you need.  This can be downloaded here.

6. Download and complete the 3 forms on this page under links, and return to Cary/Becky:

   • Annual Permission Form (one per Girl)

   • Girl Health History Form (one per Girl)

   • Internet Safety Pledge (one per Girl)

   • Adult Health History Form (one per registered Adult)

8. Install the WhatsApp App on your phone.

9. Troop Dues for the new Girl Scout year are $40 (cash).   Troop dues are used to offset the costs of Patches earned together as a troop during the year.  The girls will also receive a Troop T-Shirt with the Dues.  We will be collecting Troop Dues at our Bridging Ceremony.  Questions, please see Becky.
