The following are elements I want include in my photos for my magazine. Finding a space with most of these elements is ideal.
Large windows that let natural light illuminate the room.
A large plant.
Neutral colors such as white, grey, beige, tan, black, or white.
Natural/earthy colors such as shades of greens, blues, or reds.
Organic and unique shapes in the space.
Furniture that includes wood.
A rug or rugs. I think rugs make a space look complete.

I will be taking pictures of interiors of a space.
I will be taking photos of organic interior designs.
I plan to take my photos at target, Ikea, or a model home
I will be taking photos of organic interior designs.
I plan to take these during the daytime because I want natural light to be included if the space has windows.
I'm taking these photos because I want to showcase the beautiful and recent organic interior design style that has started gaining popularity. This magazine can serve as inspiration on how to furnish and decorate a space in an organic style.
Organic interior design is relevant to my genre because it's showcasing a new and recent style or style trend, which is almost always featured in home magazines. Organic interior design is relevant to my audience, primarily made up of younger adults in their 20s looking to furnish their new space, because it is a very aesthetically pleasing style that utilizes elements found in nature and already existent in one's home.

For my cover page, I kept it simple and minimalistic to mimic the style itself, which features more simple clutter free designs. I want the title to be a large thick font to help it stand out, and I want all the other text to be thinner. I think this helps create harmony in the cover, which is something organic interior style also focus on. I want this cover to look as good as it is useful, so I included text lines that help summarize the content in the magazine, while also making sure they were placed in a way that enhances the cover. I want the magazine to be the type of magazine that someone would consider also using as decoration on their coffee table because it looks neat. I think the audience for an organic style interior design magazine would appreciate this as well, as it could give them a decoration that they could use.

For my table of contents, I tried to create a mock-up that was organized and minimal, so I spaced it out between two pages. This allows the contents to be spaced out nicely without being cluttered. I want my audience to be able to easily locate content in the magazine, so I plan to include large page numbers, a text line stating what's on the page, and then a smaller text line that describes the contents in more detail. I also decided to include an image of a work of interior design that feels like a good representation of the style. I think my audience will appreciate this because the overall look of the page will be very aesthetic, which is something my audience heavily values.

For my double page spread, I decided to include two images and a text box. The two images will showcase the same organic interior design, just from two different angles or different parts of the design. The text box will go into detail about the following interior design. Overall, my double page spread is very simple and minimalistic. I chose this because it helps represent not only the style but the audience. The minimalism helps the layout stay organized and aesthetic. Furthermore, by keeping the double page spread simple, it highlights the interior design I choose to showcase.

I chose the following color palette because it follows the same color scheme that organic interior designs follow. It's neutral color scheme will match with almost any organic interior, making it easy to make the magazine cover look cohesive.

I chose these fonts because after browsing other interior design magazines, I noticed a trend with a similar style of fonts. I noticed, a thicker more rounded curved font for a title, and two thinner fonts for other information. I like the way this looks because I think it creates a nice contrast between fonts.

I think this one is the best of the three. The subject of the photo is dark and features a gradient background effect that makes the image look beautiful.
The three best photo's I took in my first exercise with taking pictures with my phone camera. This exercise helped me practice for when I have to take photos for my magazine pages.
This photo is also good. It features the subject as being darker due to the contrast from the light background and lighting. It also features a ninety degree camera rotation.
This is my third favorite photograph. The photo features warm lighting, that makes the photo feel welcoming. It also features a high angle the showcases the subjects many leaves, making the plant look full and flourishing.
