For my table of contents, I ended up making three different drafts before I was satisfied with the outcome. The first draft I made, I tried using a beige backround color with beige text, but I thought it looked to dark. For my second draft, I changed the backround to white and text to black. I was pretty happy with this but, I felt like it lacked some color. For my third and final draft, I added some color into the design, sort of taking inspiration from the orignal draft. I liked this one the most and I'm satisfied with the design.

This is my first draft for my double page spread. I'm pretty happy with the outcome and don't know if I will end up tweaking much if anything.

Editing these three photos took forever! To edit these photos, I used a combination of Pics Art and ibis Paint. I would use Pics Art to copy parts of the orignal picture that were hard to replicate and put them over the price tags. Then, in ibis Paint, I would blend this into the image and make tweaks to make it look normal. Editing these three pictures probably took me nearly five hours.

To edit my cover, I used Canva. I deviated away from my color pallet chose when planning because I needed a color that would pop and stand out, which my color pallet didn't have. So, I decided to choose a color I thought looked good, so I chose a yellowish green because it looks good with the background colors.

Here are my first drafts. I'm pretty satisfied with this cover and might use this as my final. The cover includes my title, "Organic" in a thick font, and has multiple tag lines such as an issue, and buzzwords that describe the magazine. I used the colors white, black, and a yellow for a pop of color that also looks harmonious with the back round. The only difference between these two drafts is the lighting.
Without edited lighting. The photo looks dark and too moody.

The editing process for editing my cover photo was lengthy. I used an app called ibis Paint to, by hand, draw over all the price tags and make them match the backgrounds. This process probably took me a little less than two hours.
