अति तृष्णा तु न कर्तव्या, तृष्णां नैव परित्यजेत्।

अतृष्णा चेति लोकोऽयं प्रजायेत न कश्चन॥

अत्यधिक तृष्णा नहीं करनी चाहिए, किन्तु तृष्णा का पूर्णतः परित्याग भी उचित नहीं है।

यदि तृष्णा सर्वथा न होती, तो इस लोक में किसी का जन्म ही संभव न होता।

Be not Indulged in craving excessively, yet Desire mustn't be Renounced Entirely.

For, Desire be altogether Absent, None would ever Come into Existence in World.
