Buildings and Grounds: Our Building & Grounds Committee organizes: Inside/Outside cleaning days in Spring and Fall, lawn mowing, contracts for snowplowing and HVAC maintenance, building maintenance, landscaping projects, and maintenance of community gardens.

Council: This committee oversees the life of Trinity. Their goal is seeing that Trinity’s mission is fulfilled through the works of committees and Trinity congregation members.

Youth and Christian Education: Opportunities available to enable people to grow in their knowledge of and relationship with Jesus, the Christ.

Adult education opportunities:

Sunday School: Sunday morning Christian education classes for all ages 4 through adult are available during the school year. Classes begin at 10:00 AM.


Confirmation: Confirmation education is in depth study of the 10 Commandments, Martin Luther, the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles’ Creed, the Sacraments, and the Bible. It is offered for youth in seventh and eighth grades. Confirmation students completing the two-year program are given the opportunity to affirm their Baptismal covenant at a special Confirmation service on the last Sunday in April of their eighth grade year. Confirmation Camp: During the summer following their sixth grade, students, who desire to participate in the Confirmation program at Trinity, attend the week of Confirmation Camp at Crossways Camping Ministries’ Imago Dei Village Camp.


T˄3Youth: The Youth Program of Trinity Lutheran Church provides activities from 5th to 12th grade that develop three areas in balance. a. Growing in faith and understanding of scripture b. Service to the Church and its mission of outreach to the world c. Fun and fellowship This is done in an atmosphere that helps young people to make a decision to follow Christ, and then provides Christian education that supports the development of their faith, and encourages action upon their faith.

*Meals provided to youth on Wednesdays prior to confirmation class.


Joy of Giving: Joy of Giving is a ministry of the congregation to give members the opportunity to support outside ministries that are beyond their original pledge to Trinity.

Library: The fabulous Library at Trinity is organized by the Library Committee and staffed on Sundays by volunteers. The resources available to people through the Library include: over 4700 books, 10 audio books, 114 music CD’s and 96 DVD’s.

MOSES: This is our Mission, Outreach, Stewardship, Evangelism, Service Committee. The members serving on this committee invite people to participate in one or more of the many service and fellowship opportunities organized throughout the year.

Random Acts of Kindness – random acts of kindness in our community to help spread God’s Word. (contact Dan Wesenick at danwesenick@gmail.com)


Community Outreach – reach out to our community and serve those in need. Projects that we actively support: community meals, Trinity Cares (care packages sent to college students, people in the service, individuals that lost a loved one, individuals that moved, etc.) and community gardens. We also support the local resource/homeless shelter by providing meals, volunteering staff hours, fundraising, assisting with landscaping, supporting their thrift store, etc.


Living Stewardship Daily – educate the congregation members on how to live stewardship daily. This committee also coordinates the annual financial stewardship campaign.


Worship and Music Committee: This committee meets the first Wednesday of each month to plan the

details for the worship services throughout the year. The ministries administered by this committee are separately defined under “Music Ministry” and “Worship Ministry”.

Music Ministry: Individuals who play the organ, keyboard, or other musical instruments to lead the congregation in worship.

The following share their gifts in music to help lead us in worship:


Alive! Band: Our musical group that utilizes keyboard, guitars, drums and vocals to lead people in worship during some Sunday morning worship services.


Adult Choir: People who love to sing and gather to practice on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM during the school year. They provide special music for worship on periodic basis.


Angel Band: Children in pre-school through first grade practice songs each Sunday before Sunday School and sing at Sunday worship periodically during the school year. (contact Patti Parry)


Trinity Women ELCA: All women of Trinity are included and encouraged to participate in the ministry organized by the Women’s Board.

Worship Ministry: People involved in enabling worship at Trinity. Contacts for this ministry are the same as the contacts listed under “Worship and Music Committee” above.


Altar Guild/Communion Preparation: A team that prepares the altar area for worship by

changing the paraments, preparing Holy Communion for each worship service and various other duties. Each team serves for a month at a time.


Lector/Scripture Reader: Members of the congregation volunteer to read the Scripture reading for each worship service. People are scheduled on a rotating basis.


Ushers: Members of the congregation who welcome people to worship, provide the bulletins to the worshipers, receive the offering, and other general duties to enable the people to worship.


Assisting Minister: A member of the congregation who helps the pastor lead worship services by leading the Confession of Faith, the Prayers of the Church, receiving the Offering, and serving Holy Communion.


Communion Server: Members of the congregation who help serve the bread or serve the wine during the distribution of Holy Communion during worship.


Acolytes: Confirmation youth who light the candles, place the Offering plates on the altar, help the pastor during Holy Baptism, extinguish the candles at the end of worship and lead us into the world.


Sound System: Members of the congregation that run the sound systems during church services and special events and, also, maintains the sounds system.

Financial Resources: This committee oversees Trinity’s finances.

Money Counters: Congregation members meet every week to account for offerings giving at Trinity’s church services.


E-Giving: A program that allows congregation members and visitors to contribute to

Trinity’s ministries electronically through texting, online e-giving account, and their own bank account.


Dartball Team: Trinity has a dartball team that plays on Thursday nights from September through March. Dartball is a game in which darts are thrown at a large wooden board that resembles a baseball field with colored areas which denote bases. Dartball uses baseball-like rules and scoring.
