Feed the Hungry
We need your help!
Trinity’s FREE community meals will run January through October on the last Wednesday of each month from 5-6 p.m. at Trinity.
We will be serving a hot main course item and will also be providing with each meal: two snacks, one fresh fruit, one dessert, and one beverage.
The red bin is located outside of Trinity’s doors to collect donations of individually wrapped snacks and desserts. Suggested donations of individually packaged items are: snacks (e.g. apple sauce, raisins, Craisins, fruit cups, granola/protein bars, jerky, etc.) and desserts (cookies, pudding, jello, etc.).
PLEASE: NO NUTS OR ITEMS REQUIRING REFRIGERATION.
We also need help to pack meals the day before each distribution date and help to distribute the meals. For details or to volunteer, contact us.

Community cupboard
Keep those contributions coming! Keep bringing non-perishable food items and leave them in the bin outside the church. These items will be quarantined for 14 days prior to being donated to the food pantry. Please make sure items donated have a shelf life of 30 days or more. Keep sharing the love, Trinity!
Trinity continues to deliver bags filled with toiletries, cleaning supplies and grocery items to the New London Community Cupboard food pantry. Earlier this year when asked, one of the food panty's volunteer coordinators said they continue to see weekly increases in clients. His eyes misted and he replied, “Last week just blew my mind away! I think we set a new record.” The pantry’s client base is growing and thanks to Trinity and others in the community, these people are being fed.
In case you know of someone that could use this service the pantry is open on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and again at 5 to 7 p.m. It is located at 600 W. Washington St. in New London. You can call (920) 982-9290 with any questions.
Lutheran World Relief Kits
Between COVID-19 and the many challenges of 2020, the need for Lutheran World Relief (LWR) Personal Care Kits around the world has grown and intensified. Meanwhile, LWR warehouse shelves are almost empty. But your love can make a difference. People of every age can share God’s love by making LWR Personal Care Kits—whether in individual families or in groups.
By assembling LWR Personal Care Kits, we help share God’s love, and create a Season of Hope for our neighbors around the world.
Quilts for Lutheran World Relief (LWR)
Get started making quilts for Lutheran World Relief. We are quilting on Thursday mornings 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The needs around the world have never been greater! We need:
People able to cut material into squares or strips
People who can iron material so it is easier to work with
People who can sew a straight line ( or close to it)
People who can pin layers of material together
People who can lay out squares of material to ready them for sewing
People who can use a large needle and thread to tie a quilt together
And by ”People” I mean you! I would love to have so many “people” that we would have to have two sessions of quilting. If you have questions, contact us.
