OUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE 

Scoala Gimnaziala nr.1 Branesti is a primary school, located in a disadvantaged area in a rural suburb of Bucharest, situated at 20 km fat from it. 

Some of the elderly are Bulgarians and they keep their traditions.The school and the students are all involved with this traditions.Our school consists of approximately 470 students of which 14 are special needs, 5 Roma, 25 from other villages, 3 with different educational background (Japanese, Greek, Belgian) supervised by 32 teachers. More than 75% of the families have a low income and a low level of education. Many families and students are in a tough social and economic situation.Our school develops the European school curriculum in order to grow the students' knowledge. The possibility to achieve this partnership opens new perspectives for our pupils to study the cultural heritage(myth, legends, ballads), diversity, to keep in touch with traditions and with our elderly community.To learn from their wisdom and knowledge .To learn about other countries and cultures. Our students show great interest in language learning, ICT, arts, music, dance, sport, literature and cultural activities. They recorded good results at school competitions and Olympiads (Romanian, English, mathematics, art, music, physical education and sport). Our school’s motivation to join this project is our students.We value the uniqueness and importance of every student and will seek to help them form a sense of their own worth through developing self confidence, self expression and the ability to relate with peers and others, while at all times making allowances for diversity among people. We want to provide quality education to facilitate a successful school career for all students, including those facing different challenges(SEN pupils, students facing economic or social obstacles, cultural differences, or linguistic challenge,as the 3 students who came back home with their families from Belgium, Japan or Greece).Our school wants to meet all challenges of continuous changes in the type of curriculum and assessment at the end of the curricular cycles like PISA test and, therefore, must become more modern, innovative, adaptable, to develop new management strategies, participating in partnerships at European level, to make contact with other European schools, to find and produce new methods of teaching and learningassessment in terms of XXI century skills development for the benefit of students. The key people: Anisoara Aydin (Erasmus Coordinator) and Tatiana Badea (the alternative coordinator). Mrs. Aydin has a good experience in managing Erasmus+ and eTwinning projects. With a knowledge of management processes, and quality communication. Managing project scoping and project activities. With the development of specialised documents.The ability to turn ideas into action, using creativity,innovation, organization, planning, flexibility and adaptability. Our school will bring its expertise in implementing Erasmus+ partnerships, knowing all the steps .

Școala Gimnazială nr.1 Brănești, jud. Ilfov, a fost gazda activității de învățare, predare, formare- Schimb pe termen scurt de grupuri de elevi în perioada 2-6 mai 2022 în cadrul proiectului european de schimb interșcolar Erasmus+ KA229 ,,STORYTELLERS ACROSS EUROPE- TREASURES”, nr. ref. 2020-1-EL01-KA229-078992_6 (coordonator- Grecia, parteneri- Italia, Turcia, Lituania, Letonia și România).

Timp de 5 zile, 8 cadre didactice și 16 elevi din școlile partenere ne-au fost fizic alături, iar partenerii din Italia s-au alăturat activităților on-line. Programul a evidențiat moștenirea culturală locală și națională prin abordări interdisciplinare ăn context non-formal, practici de predare, activități culturale, activități de colaborare, activități de învățare, spectacole de teatru și multe altele.

Metodologie: Învățare bazată pe proiecte, experiență educațională centrată pe experimentarea propriei capacități, schimb de bune practici, ateliere în grupuri mici, cooperare, joc de rol, abordare a învățării prin practică, lucru pe proiecte, implicare activă a tuturor participanților, abordări holistice și integrate ale artei teatrale, reflecție și evaluare. Elevii vor veni în România pregătiți în prealabil pentru acest schimb de grup de către profesorii lor.

Rezultate: 5 machete 3D reprezentând 5 balade diferite ; o mini-piesă de teatru;Târgul Erasmus+ ;5 videoclipuri în limba maternă cu subtitrare în limba engleză; un album foto- jurnalul mobilității; actualizarea TwinSpace-ului proiectului; 5 materiale pentru colțurile Erasmus; un spectacol pentru părinți și comunitatea locală;Certificate de participare activă pentru elevi.

S-au legat prietenii între elevii europeni și profesorii din cele 5 țări.

Au fost implicați profesori și elevi, părinți, tutori, bunici și reprezentanți ai comunității locale în căutarea comorilor patrimoniului nostru cultural material și imaterial și promovarea acestora la nivel european.

Scoala Gimnaziala no. 1 Branești, Ilfov county, was the host of the learning, teaching, training activity - Short-term exchange of groups of students between May 2-6, 2022 within the European Erasmus+ interschool exchange project KA229 ,,STORYTELLERS ACROSS EUROPE-TREASURES", no. ref. 2020-1-EL01-KA229-078992_6 (coordinator - Greece, partners - Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, Latvia and Romania).

For 5 days, 8 teachers and 16 students from the partner schools were physically with us, and the Italian partners joined the online activities. The program highlighted local and national cultural heritage through interdisciplinary approaches in a non-formal context, teaching practices, cultural activities, collaborative activities, learning activities, theater performances and more.

Methodology: Project-based learning, educational experience centered on experiencing one's own capacity, exchange of best practices, small group workshops, cooperation, role play, learning-by-doing approach, project work, active involvement of all participants, holistic approaches and integrated theater arts, reflection and evaluation. Students will come to Romania prepared in advance for this group exchange by their teachers.

Results: 5 3D models representing 5 different ballads; a mini-play; Erasmus+ Fair; 5 videos in mother tongue with English subtitles; a photo album - the diary of mobility; updating the TwinSpace of the project; 5 materials for Erasmus corners; a show for parents and the local community;Certificates of active participation for students.

Friendships were made between the European students and the teachers from the 5 countries.

Teachers and students, parents, guardians, grandparents and representatives of the local community were involved in the search for the treasures of our tangible and intangible cultural heritage and their promotion at the European level.
