DAY 1 Monday, 2nd MAY 2022
The first day of the mobility, teachers and students visited Branesti where they were welcomed at The House of Teachers by local representatives, such as the City Hall Manager, Mr Andrei Ciozvarda, the Manager of the House of Teachers Mr Florin Petrescu, the Teacher Trainer and Mentor Mr Marius Ovidiu Sebe,the Coordinator of European Programs Mrs Simona Luca, the Headmistress of the ScoalaGimnaziala No1 Branesti,MsAnisoara Aydin and her students and other local authorities and teachers.
In the evening the students prepared the Erasmus+ Stalls where each country exhibited maps, brochures, local products and pictures of their national treasures. All the students of the school visited the Erasmus + Stalls and took a taste of the national treasures of each country.
Our Italian partners joined the mobility virtually and through ZOOM sessions they talked about their expectations.ARomanian pupil wrote them on a post- it and added it on a paper. The Italian pupils presented their poster, the map, the map of Lecce, pictures of their schooland videos from Italy
DAY 2 Tuesday, 3rd MAY
The second day we did some cultural Visits where the pupils tookpictures, recorded videos, made observation notes on how other cultures influenced the Romanian culture, etc.
DAY 3 Wednesday, 4th MAY
The third day the students created a new drama play with characters from their national myths, legends, ballads, placed on different cultural heritage locations from the project countries. The students wrote the play before the mobility and they rehearsed it at the school’s auditorium. Our Italian partners participated virtually and sang to us a beautiful traditional Italian song “Kalinifta”.
Later we worked on TwinSpace and the Project’s website (uploading the materials) and prepared the materials for the Erasmus+ corner (DYI/art&craft).
In the evening we had free time to go sightseeing and shopping in Bucharest.
DAY 4 Thursday, 05th MAY
The fourth day of our mobility, the students did a workshop with their peers from local schools and high-schools involved in other Erasmus+ project about myths, ballads, legends; They created 3D models based on 5 myths, ballads or legends and presented them. Our Italian partners worked with us virtually and presented their model as well.
In the afternoon the students prepared for the International Show (outfits, sets, etc.). All the students involved in the short-term exchanges of groups of pupils in Romania acted a myth, ballad, legend at their choice and danced traditional dances. Romania acted the myth of Arges Monastery and a folk dance (click here to view the Legend of Arges Monastery- the shadow theatre teachinque). Turkey acted funny stories and anecdotes from Nasreddin Hodja, a philosopherand a wise man. They sang traditional songs and danced traditional dances. They also acted the tradition of painting with henna the brides’ hands. Latvia acted the myth of the wolf and Lithuania the myth of the Sunflower. Finally, the students from Greece danced traditional dances and invited all the audience to the stage. Local newspapers, local authorities, local community were invited to join the show as viewers. The Headmistress of the host school, Mrs Nicoleta Tone, thanked all visitor schools for their participation.
DAY 5 Friday, 06th MAY
The last day of our mobility the students dramatized the new play on stage and recorded it. You may watch it here
Characters from myths and legends of the six participating countries come together to celebrate the differences and the similarities of their cultural heritage and enjoy multilingualism and pluriculturalism in one place: On the stage!
