Be careful with your intentions to help. Ask yourself first, are you uplifting trans voices, supporting organizations, raising awareness for this issue, or other. In doing so, make sure your actions are intentional and not performative. Make an effort to create connection and truly understand how this issue impacts not just trans and cis women, but everyone under the patriarchy and threatened by white supremacy.
Look at our other tabs to learn more and do some more research in areas where you are still confused or want to learn more. We have so much access to educating ourselves, and we should take advantage of that. If you are willing and able, having a conversation with friends, family, coworkers, etc., about this issue is crucial.
Research organizations that are actively working towards change and do meaningful work. Some examples are the Women's Sports Foundation, Athlete Ally, and TransAthlete.com. Donate if you are able to, but there are plenty of other ways to support, like keeping up with newsletters, sharing with friends and family, or finding and supporting organizations and trans athletes near you.
