The long term goal of TrainaLyzer App is simple. We want to provide the very best training analytics to Apple Watch users.
TrainaLyzer App is currently free of charge and free of ads. The first version of the app contains the most essential features for anyone serious about their training. Basic features such as tracking training volume over time, and the time distributed between the training zones are not novel, but nevertheless important. Together with the more advanced features such as recovery tracking and the race predictor, the App is will constitute a useful tool for anyone seeking to increase the value of their Apple Watch.
Our belief is that there are three cornerstones that makes an app useful for training.
Firstly, it should have the basic functionality down. This means showing basic workout information, and tracking training volume and load over time. These concepts are important no matter which sport or activity you prefer, and what your goals are.
Secondly, the more advanced features should have a scientific foundation. Even though training and wellness is a mix of science and art, it is a good practice to build training principles on scientific knowledge.
Thirdly, an app should be user-friendly and encourage progress. No matter how feature-packed an app is, if it is complicated and unorganised, it may not be particularly useful. For that reason, we have tried to build TrainaLyzer to be minimalistic and intuitive.
