Last week, we looked at COVER SONGS, where other performers (yourselves included) created new versions of existing songs.

THIS WEEK, it's PARODY SONGS!

What's the difference??

A COVER SONG is a new performance by someone other than the original performer. They might change the instruments, structure and vibe of the song to create their own version.

A PARODY SONG takes an existing song and changes the lyrics.

Check out this (lockdown-themed) PARODY:

YOUR WEEK 3 CHALLENGE:

Change the words to a famous song to create your own
lockdown/homeschooling/covid-19 parody!

Take it a step further:

Find a backing track (instrumental or karaoke version) of the song you've chosen,
record your new lyrics and share it with me!
