Dance Ticket Refund Policy
TPHS ASB does not refund dance tickets. If a student has a question they can see Mrs. Ryan in room 4. 

Guest Form

If you plan to bring a guest to a school dance that IS NOT a Torrey Pines HS student, you need to have this Dance Guest Pass Application  completed in order to purchase their ticket. You can print out the form on your own or pick up a copy in the ASB Student Store or outside of the ASB Room (Room 4).  Guests must be a current high school student or a high school graduate that is no older than 20 years old. Here is what you need to do:

1. Fill out the form 

2. Give the form to your guest and have them attach a copy of their ID (school or driver's license)

3. Your guest will also need to get their Administrator, Dean or Counselor's signature on the form and attach their business card

4. Take the completed form to your Assistant Principal and have them review and sign the form

5. Bring the completed form to the ASB Store and purchase your guest's ticket. Guest tickets are not eligible for ASB card discount prices.

Prom

Torrey Pines Prom is a formal event held annually in the spring. It is a special night to dress up, be with friends, and get the full ‘school dance’ experience. There are pictures opportunities, dancing, food, music, and more. Students can attend with or without a date. Only Juniors and Seniors are allowed to attend the dance, unless an underclassman is the date of an upperclassman. Guests from outside Torrey Pines are welcome, with the correct and completed paperwork. Limos and buses are also permitted, given the proper form is turned in at the dance prior to debarking from the bus/limo. Tickets for the dance go on sale a few weeks before the event. All Students must arrive no later than 8:45 and can leave no earlier than 10pm. All checks to be made payable to Torrey Pines High School. All Outside Guests will need a pre-approved Guest Pass in order to purchase their tickets. All Students arriving via Limosine or Bus will need to have a completed Limo Pass Form with them as they arrive at the dance. Photo Package Forms must be turned in to the Student Store before the dance. All form are available at the Student Store and on the Torrey Pines Website.

Prom will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024

Birch Aquarium 

Formal

Winter Formal is a formal, off-campus dance that is organized and planned by Torrey Pines ASB. It is a special night to dress up, be with friends, and get the full ‘school dance’ experience. There are pictures opportunities, dancing, food, music, and more. Students can attend with or without a date. All grades are welcome. Guests from outside Torrey Pines may also attend, with the correct and completed paperwork. Limos and buses are permitted, given the proper information is turned in to the Student Store. Tickets for the dance go on sale a few weeks before the event.

Winter Formal will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024
From 7-10 pm 

Homecoming

The Homecoming Dance is held the Saturday night after the Homecoming football game. It is a informal dance held on campus. It is a fun and easy night of activities, dancing, and food in a safe environment. No date is required for this dance and guests from outside Torrey Pines are permitted. You must have guest forms approved by administration. Student IDs are required for check-in purposes and party buses and limos are emptied upon arrival at the dance.
