Regular Meeting 通常例会
Time: 3rd Saturday of every month 2:00 pm-4:00 pm

Location: Toyota Shimin Katsudo Center (near Toyotashi St.)

【August meeting report :8/16/2025】
2025 August regular meeting was held with 5 members and 3 guests.
Everyone, how did you enjoy today’s meeting?
We had five members and three guests with us.
The meeting began with our President’s warm and welcoming opening remarks. Then, we warmed up with one-minute talks, sharing our recent updates.
In the prepared speech session, a guest from Bahrain via Zoom delivered his Ice Breaker, sharing his experiences of living in Japan. Another member gave a speech titled “Bright Shining Moment,” where he described highlights of his life with expressive gestures and powerful words.
During the evaluation session, the speaker received feedback on his excellent speech structure, along with advice on how visual aids could make his speech even more engaging.
In the Table Topics session, both members and guests answered questions on the theme of ghosts. According to the votes, we had two winners, tied for first place!
Today’s word of the day was exponential. Although it was a new and unfamiliar word for many of us, we had a good chance to practice using it.
Overall, today’s meeting went smoothly, was full of fun, and finished right on time.
Thank you all very much for your wonderful cooperation.

【July meeting report :7/19/2025】
2025 June regular meeting was held with 8 members and 1 guest.
After meeting, new club officer installation ceremony was conducted successfully.
7月定例会が会員6名、来賓5名で開催されました。和やかななかでも刺激的な例会を楽しみました。

Toyota Friendship Toastmasters club was founded in Toyota-city, Aichi in 2002 to improve speech and leadership skills in English. We have regular monthly meetings and various other activities to strengthen the relationships among the members. Our members have consisted of a variety of ages, backgrounds, occupations, and interests. Guests and visitors from overseas also participate in our online meetings! Visit and feel the friendly atmosphere. We will give you warm welcome!

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colo., the organization's membership exceeds 364,000 in more than 16,200 clubs in 145 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders. In Japan, more than 200 clubs are active now. Many of them conduct their meetings in English, but some clubs use other languages such as Japanese, Chinese, French, and so on.
