The album cover for Poets in Distress
POETS IN DISTRESS is the debut album from Tower 17. Originally released on July 15th 2015, the album was originally on Bandcamp and YouTube, and would not be available from other sources such as iTunes, Spotify, or Amazon until April 2017.
The album features no additional musicians other than Levon himself, but he did recieve production help by his father, Ruben Guaderrama, and Patrick Kahl. This is due to Levon not having easy access to a drum set at the time.
Some of the songs, such as "Feed the Flames" and "You'd Better Come Over, Then" were originally written in 2012-2013 for Levon's earlier band King Boo, and "Sorry, Love" has its sources as far back as 2011.
As with the earlier song "The Project," this was originally released under the name Towers, which was changed later to Tower 17.
