FALCON COACHING STAFF

Julie Neubauer is a 20 year veteran coach who has been the head coach at La Costa Canyon High School for the past 3 years. She began her career at Steele Canyon High School in 2000. She was the head varsity coach for the Cougars for 16 years, winning 2 CIF championships and 7 league titles. After transferring to Torrey Pines High School to teach in 2016, she assisted the Falcons for 3 seasons on the softball field. After being a Maverick for 3 years she is back in Cardinal and Gold! Coach Neubauer is happy to be teaching and coaching at Torrey Pines High School.

Mike Wahlstrom is the former head coach at Canyon Crest Academy High School from 2016-2021. He led to Ravens  to a CIF championship in 2021. Coach Wahlstrom has coached baseball, softball, volleyball, and football at the high school level. After taking a few years off to watch his own children play, he is returning to the game.
