The Theatrical Outreach Program (TOP) was founded in 2008. We produce four plays each year including at least one classical work. With each production, we provide workshops in collaboration with the community where the show is performed or acting exercises, close readings, or technical elements are shared. As an entirely student run theater club, TOP offers various opportunities for creative and technical involvement as well as community development and outreach.

Our productions take place in Collins Auditorium, with both the actors and audience onstage. This unique staging allows a flexible and creative show environment for our actors and technical team.
TOP was founded with a dedication to classical theater. Each year we commit to producing at least one classical work. Each script is edited and produced to carry out our mission of outreach.
TOP was founded in 2008 by Ryan Adams to create and perform free, accessible theater in an inclusive space. Originally a part of Fordham Experimental Theater, TOP produced abridged classical theater productions to share their message with the Fordham community and the surrounding area.
Our first production of Romeo and Juliet was performed in the spring of 2008 in Fordham’s Black Box. Outreach has been a critical part of our mission of accessibility. The cast of Romeo and Juliet performed for high school students, sharing close readings and a passion for classical theater.
By Spring 2011, TOP was established as a theater club at Fordham performing a variety of classical productions such as A Midsummer Night's Dream and Antigone. Over the years, TOP has continued expanding its productions and outreach programming, and continues promoting theater accessibility.
