Member Tommy suffered a cardiac arrest on the 5th January this year which left him with a hypoxic brain injury. With a long road ahead we organised a fundraising challenge in June where Scott & some of the members took part aiming to complete 20,000 steps or 100 calf raises everyday for the month of June. On Tuesday 8th July Tommy came for his first visit to the Trench since his cardiac arrest and we gifted him with £3145.00 which we raised. ALL the money is going towards further rehab treatments when he finally leaves the rehab centre he is currently in.
We want to thank everyone who sponsored and donated to the fundraising. You can follow Tommy's journey here on facebook just click on the icon below.
