In a majority of cases even debts that can be proved can still be removed by us focusing another issue other than the amount due. Original creditors and bureaus are held to a standard that most don’t even try to comply with. For example when a debt is disputed with a credit bureau the bureau is supposed to contact the creditors to make sure the information they have on your credit report is accurate.
The credit bureaus (Equifax, TRW & Experian) are also required to keep the paperwork on their premises before they enter the information on credit files.
As you can probably guess, the bureaus don’t keep anyone’s paperwork at the bureau and most original creditors also don’t have the original signed contracts as required by federal laws. So the enter information they have no proof and they lower credit scores in the process. In some cases we will have an attorney assist with removing the negative information. We do this to let the bureaus and original creditors know we understand the State & Federal laws and will go to court if necessary.
