The course is a programme of learning designed to meet with the specific first aid training requirements of outdoor organisations such as Mountain Training (England, Cymru, Scotland). These organisations usually stipulate a minimum criteria for delivery time and subjects that candidates must cover.
The syllabus for WorkSafe Outdoor First Aid is based on best practice from the industry. It is a 2 day course with a minimum of 16 hours of guided learning. Prior to booking / attending the course, organisers should ensure the qualification is accepted by the governing body they are training for.
