Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Pomodoro Focus Timer – Tomoto ("the App", "we", "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Data We Collect

The App operates entirely on-device. All data is stored locally in a SQLite database on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

• Pomodoro sessions — start/end time, duration, session type (Work, Short Break, Long Break), completion status.

• Tasks — title, description, estimated and completed pomodoros, completion status, creation date.

• Subscription records — plan type (Weekly / Monthly / Yearly), start/end dates, active status, and Apple-provided transaction identifiers for purchase verification.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information.

• We do not collect location data.

• We do not access your camera, microphone, or contacts.

• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) or cross-app tracking.

• We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Local Notifications

The App uses local notifications to alert you when a work or break session ends. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no data leaves your device to deliver them. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.

4. Analytics (Firebase)

The App uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage data. This helps us understand how the App is used and improve it over time.

Firebase Analytics collects:

• Anonymous device information (OS version, device model, language, country)

• App usage events (e.g. timer started, session completed, paywall viewed)

• A randomly generated Firebase Installation ID — not linked to your identity and not an advertising identifier

Firebase Analytics does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) and does not track you across other apps or websites. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your Firebase Installation ID by uninstalling the App.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) through the Apple App Store. Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We only store Apple-issued transaction identifiers locally on your device to verify and restore purchases. We never see your payment card details.

6. Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device, protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We have no access to this data. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data permanently.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The App contains no user accounts or data submission features.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
