Aisu (Alex)
Born to gnomes in one of the mountain cities of the gnome kingdom Inks family lived a simple life. Having a total of 6 kids Ink was second to last born. Inks parents were killed by a group of mercenaries hired by an unknown benefactor. Following this the oldest ones took care of the rest of the kids and settled to the forest's northeast of the capital of Thul with only what their parents left. Then they were later found by the same group seeking to finish the job but one of the older siblings took the two youngest and then seeking protection gave Ink to a different family. Keeping the smallest one in hope of keeping the family name alive EEE thought they would do best to separate. Inks new family lived in Targoth and Ink only has a Maloghurst amulet with the name windy, his sister, on it as well as a key to go with it. These were given to him from his older brother to remember his family by. The new family full of high elf Priests of Maloghurst promised to protect him no matter the cost and taught him the ways sneaky sneaky grabby hands, lies and, and secrets. Due to this clouded upbringing Ink remembers little of his family knowing only the church and occasionally getting brief recollections of his early childhood and caring family.
Recently as a result of a wish spell Ink has altered himself to become one of the Ancient Elfs. In doing so he has additionally changed his name to Nym and has been acknowledged as the son of Calix.
Shaddoth Cremmulus Vayne was born under a full moon in the region of ice and cold, to Shelath a woman of human descent He did not know the name of his father, only knowing he was a storm giant. He was born in the Giant village of Gillimund, a warrior's village nestled between mountains and a Central Valley. He was always bigger than the other half-bloods and that always made him a natural protector of the other children. Being raised by a single mother, and quickly outgrowing her, he was forced to become the man of the house. Seeking out his own destiny he learned to fight from Sir Aegelwulf, training in the use of swords and axes, and learning the art of throwing javelins, he became as deadly as possible by honing his martial strengths. After his training, he traveled working various jobs to save the gold to go south. Some of these jobs involved fighting in tournaments funded by lords and ladies and caused him to gain notoriety and fame all over. After his training in the ice and snow, he left the confines of his home village and finally traveled south in search of serious mercenary work as a bodyguard or protector or to join up with the armies, that is when he became plagued by the sickness of the soul that Gabriel had placed upon him. He became extremely addicted to the drug Frenzon, a drug that causes a massive hallucinogenic effect causing Shaddoth to have visions that he is in the astral plane. In the astral plane, he was the savior of a group of people known as the Havitals, a civilization considered less than intellectual but at the same time highly technological when it comes to body manipulation. They seeing his valiant battle against the Mechanox Vilitarium to save them, named him Viserys. This made him essentially their God. Upon waking up from one of these visions, as it turns out this is also where he met the party, joining the tournament they had all been fighting in in order to win a job escorting a lady to Ekkidon from Targoth
Velkara Goldenmantle was born in the dwarf hold, Karak Azul (Iron Peak). Since she was a child, she has always been somewhat mechanically inclined. When she was young she would often find herself helping in her father's forge, helping do minor repairs to damaged equipment, and occasionally working on fixing damaged weapons and armor of her clan’s warriors. Around the age of 20, moving into her adolescence, she officially began an apprenticeship with her father as he began preparing her for running the clan smithy. However, it soon became apparent that her talents in craftsmanship were being wasted making the everyday ax and pick for her fellow dwarfs. So on her 25th birthday, her father called in a longstanding favor and sent her to apprentice under the Runelord of the crafting guild, Thorek Ironbrow, Master Runelord of Karak Azul. From there, he not only taught Velkara more advanced methods of forging but also most other forms of crafting. While never being quite as proficient in them as she was in smithing, she learned quickly how to become self-sufficient when it came to working with other materials. During her years of apprenticeship, she was taught to not only pray but to respect the God of Craftsmen and Artisans, Kharl. On her 50th birthday to celebrate her coming of age Thorek tasked her with making a final item to prove she was worthy of graduating from her apprenticeship. She must make an item that was both an efficient weapon and an incredible tool. Knowing that no simple ax or pick would suffice, Velkara toiled under Thorek’s ever present gaze, praying day asking for Kharl’s blessings upon the hammer. Finally on the day of her birthday and with Thorek’s runes she had created, Grimgrong, the Unyielding Anvil. As a final showing of the hammer’s capability, after transforming it into a forge, Kharl blessed Velkara with a blacksmith’s hammer she could form of divine energy. With that, she had earned Thorek’s blessing to graduate from her apprenticeship and go forth. To improve her skills, create an artifact of legend, and go on a pilgrimage to prove herself before Agil, the Great Blacksmith of the River, thus cementing herself and her hold in history.
Jack Trulus was raised in a city in the human Kingdom of Therenadeer. He was dropped off at the footstep of the local orphanage with nothing but his name. He grew-up with a speech impediment and was slightly bullied due impart. The only reason it was slight though was because of his stature, he was always ahead of his peers physically. It was nothing for Jack, at the age of twelve, to help the miners at their workplace in his free time, with him outworking some of the more experienced miners. He was happy with his life until he was unable to save the person, he held most dear to him in a fire that burnt down the orphanage that he lived in. After failing to save his friend he ran from the orphanage to find some solace in the mines stumbling upon a cave which held a giant obelisk with runes carved in it. He felt drawn to the stone and touched it, the world around him warped and his skin began to sear with pain as he lost consciousness. He awoke later to a new environment and was found shortly thereafter by a hill giant named Lodd who took Jack in, mistaking him for a young giant. Lodd was a master brew man and was treated with great respect amongst most of the giants and in his stay there Jack was shown the ropes of the brewery, helping his mind wander from its defeat, and come his sixteenth winter a regiment of storm giants came to the brewery not on their usual patrol they had come in response to the echo of a magical disturbance in the area. Jack tried to feign ignorance, but the captain there saw through him, both his act and what he actually was. Captain Regn told Lodd and Jack the gravity of the situation, Jack was a “ᚻᚨᛚᚠ᛫ᛒᛚᚩᚩᛞ” or a half-blood to the giants, his immense stature was due impart to this. Jack was then whisked away to receive training from the storm giants as he was one of the few remaining half-bloods. With his training came an understanding of himself, he was weak, and he needed to be stronger. Strong enough so that if something like the fire happened again, he would be able to overcome the issue. He took to his training diligently and finished his apprenticeship at the age of twenty-four where he was released to find new strength in the open world. He chose to renounce his name, as it was that of someone who had been weak, replacing it with “ᛋᛏᚩᚾᛖ” translating directly to stone for which he wanted to become to the people that he meets. Steinn started his journey, but not before going to see Lodd again before his departure. He requisitioned a barrel of Giants ale and headed for the road.
