My Story
I used to live in Shinjuku. The rent was very high, so I lived in a small room. Since the kitchen was very small, I usually ate out. There were many cheap restaurants, I didn't have any problems with eating.
People who work in Kabukicho lived around my area, and it was characteristic to see many hostesses and hosts riding in taxis to go to work at night.
When I had a hard time at work, I went to Shinjuku Gyoen, a nature-rich park located in the heart of the city, to refresh myself. Although many people visit the park, the spacious grounds allow me to relax and feel comfortable. However, during the cherry blossom season in spring, it gets extremely crowded.
