The streets are lined with stores selling anime and manga goods. Nowadays, Japanese anime and manga have become famous in other countries as well, and many foreign tourists visit Akihabara.

Akihabara has unique cafes called Maid Cafe. Staffs dressed as maids serve you there.

The main street becomes a car-free zone on Sundays.
