Since the AKA exhibition of 2024 I have wandered an intense and incredible road of learning and of creativity. I finished my education at Grennan Mill Craft College and I have explored new and strange areas of approaching ceramic art. I have a fascination in bringing out the beauty of the clay and I truly listen to the clay itself, I work with natural materials, but this year I brought my creations back to the serene basics. I explored Japanese techniques and any little imperfection was transformed into a purposeful beauty. My sources of inspiration have been our medieval ruins in Ireland, the Scandinavian deep and silently dark forests and the cheekiness of bugs and wildlife. I will now continue my journey and explore my creativity with the help of very old and natural firing processes.
