As a CPA, CA and experienced business adviser, Todd understands that responsible leadership requires more than identifying problems. It requires examining the facts, understanding the financial consequences, listening to affected people and making choices that can be clearly explained and defended.
Todd has more than 35 years of professional experience and has served as a partner with two of Canada’s leading accounting firms. He has advised businesses and organizations across many industries and has also shared his experience through post-secondary teaching.
Todd would bring an independent and constructive voice to Council. He is committed to asking difficult but respectful questions, working collaboratively and evaluating decisions according to their long-term value for Kelowna residents.
As a Kelowna/Rutland Boy, Kelowna has given me many opportunities to contribute, build relationships and serve my community. Running for Council is an extension of that service.
I am not running to advance a political ideology or a personal agenda. I am running to help Council make better-informed decisions and to strengthen the relationship between City Hall and the people it serves.
I will listen carefully, speak honestly and remain accountable for the positions I take. I will not promise that every decision will be easy or that everyone will always agree. I will promise to explain my reasoning, respect different points of view and put the long-term interests of Kelowna first.
