Oh, hello there!
Since you've gotten here anyway, I might as well tell you a little about myself. You can call me Hilda. I am an Indonesian, of Batak Toba descent to be more precise. But growing up among Javanese resulted in a rather multicultural background and identity, so I choose to call myself simply an Indonesian. On my socials, I often go by Hilda Tobing.
I reside and work in scientific research in Norway. I geek out at topics relating to texture in nature, hyperspectral imaging, visualization, visual expertise, and mathematical morphology. While my research interest used to be mainly theoretical and fundamental in nature, lately I find myself putting effort and finding joy in making my work more available and understandable to people outside my niche. So I put out datasets, working on creating web-apps to allow exploring and using the datasets for those that are not used to programming, etc.
Oh, anyway, I have a blog that I don't update regularly (or at all) but you might want to check it out. Especially if you have been scratching your head trying to deal with hyperspectral images. Here you go: https://tobinghd.wordpress.com/Â
