Discover the floral origins of your honey through DNA analysis

Honey contains tiny traces of pollen and plant DNA from the flowers visited by bees. Using DNA metabarcoding, we identify the plants represented in your honey sample and provide a clear, beekeeper-friendly report showing the floral sources detected.

Who is eligible?

This is a free service supported by HoneyBee Tennessee, and is currently available to Tennessee beekeepers only. Samples must come from honey produced by colonies located in Tennessee.
