The Nighthawk Imperium's sword-focused division, the Vanguards are tasked with defending one of the Imperium's iconic fortresses, Scorched Fortress, from any external threats that wish to seize its value. The Vanguards also serve as the Imperium's raiding force, being one of the only divisions allowed to. The Vanguards have also dedicated their sword skills to the protection of the border, and they are equipped with flaming swords and revolvers.

It contains information such as Vanguards rules and introductory department information. If you are interested in this division, reading the guidelines is advisable.
Individuals must first join The Nighthawk Imperium ROBLOX group. Upon joining, one will be at the rank of Citizen. A person may then simply join the Vanguards ROBLOX group. In order to rank up in Vanguards, a person may join the Vanguards Discord and attend events announced in the shouts channel.
As the elite raiding and defending force of Vanguards, Guardians serve as the front line of defense during all sword related events within the Imperium.
VG has various departments that are responsible for managing the different aspects of the group. These departments are entitled Community, Warfare, Progression, and Justice Committee. Descriptions of each one can be found below.
Community:
The Community focus is responsible for hosting events and introducing initiatives to improve the communal experience in the Vanguards division. To join, one must be a Gladiator+ and pass an application.
Warfare:
The Warfare focus is responsible for maintaining the Warfare experience in Vanguards, whether that be through the hosting or internal events (PRs/DTs) or external events (Raids/Defenses). To join, one must be a Knight+ and pass an application.
Progression:
The Progression focus is responsible for overseeing internal progression to the officer ranks in the division. Members can vote on applications and conduct evaluations. To join, one must be a Champion+ and pass an application.
Justice Committee:
The VG Justice Committee is responsible for processing misconduct reports and appeals. These individuals ensure that members are punished properly for any infractions committed. To join, one must be a Blademaster+ and pass an application.
In accordance with the Vanguards rules and regulations listed in the Guidelines, the divisions features a Justice Committee to make sure that those rules are enforced. As such, individuals may submit a misconduct report if they think a Vanguard has violated a rule. Conversely, people who feel that they have been wrongly punished may submit an appeal.
