1. Project Staff under an ANRF-funded project.

Project Area: Microcontact Printing and Cell Culture

Salary: ₹27,000 per month + HRA (as per institute norms)

Duration: 9 months (extendable based on performance and project requirements)

Eligibility: Master’s degree in Science or Engineering (including relevant branches such as Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering); OR

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates with a background in  Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or related disciplines

Candidates with an Engineering background and expertise in microfabrication are also highly desirable. The project involves research at the interface of stem cells, microfabrication, and cell culture.

For B.Tech Students:

If you are a B.Tech student at IIT Guwahati, you are welcome to join the lab for a project or simply drop by for a discussion about science in general. Feel free to visit my office (#108 0 block) anytime to explore potential opportunities.  

For M.Tech Students:

If you are an M.Tech student in BSBE department, you may join us for your M.Tech project.

For Ph.D. Students:

Students are admitted to the Ph.D. program at IIT Guwahati twice a year. Please check the admission portal of IIT Guwahati for further details.

For Interns

Currently, there are no internship positions available for students from institutions outside IIT Guwahati. Applications for the Summer Internship in 2026 are now Closed. For the 2027 Summer internship, send your request before 15 Feb 2027.
