First Americans Museum: 

In one place, visitors experience the collective histories of 39 distinctive First American Nations in Oklahoma today. The 175,000 square foot museum, located in Oklahoma City’s new Horizons District, showcases state-of-the-art exhibitions in First American history, community events and educational programs, a restaurant and café offering unique Indigenous-inspired cuisine, a multi-purpose theater and a museum store featuring exclusive items created by premiere First American artists. 

FAM is open 10am - 5pm Monday - Friday, CLOSED TUESDAYS, and 11am - 5pm on weekends.

39 Restaurant:

39 Restaurant honors the 39 First American Nations in Oklahoma today. Only a few of these Tribal Nations are Indigenous to what is now the State of Oklahoma. Most were removed from homelands across North America to Indian Territory, but all carry on vibrant and distinct culinary traditions.

We invite you to experience the diverse flavors and rich nutrients of First American cuisine. These foods have sustained our people and shaped our cultures for generations. Our ancestors created extensive trade routes to share ingredients, recipes, and techniques across the Americas. They cultivated sustainable foodways that benefit us to this day. Blending ancestral ingredients with contemporary aesthetics, Emmy Award-winning Chef Consultant Loretta Barrett Oden (Citizen Potawatomi Nation) and Executive Chef Benjamin Hutton bring culinary artistry and cultural celebration to every plate.

Located inside the FAM, 39 Restaurant is open for lunch on Wed - Fri from 11am - 4pm, dinner on Fri - Sat from 5pm - 10pm, as well as brunch (11am - 3pm) and happy hour (4pm - 6pm) on weekends.

Exhibit C Gallery: 

Oklahoma City’s premier First American art gallery is located in the newly developed Horizons district. Proudly owned by the Chickasaw Nation, Exhibit C celebrates First American artists through fine art sales with superior customer service.

The gallery is filled with authentic pieces of artwork handcrafted by First American artists from around the world. Additionally, Exhibit C carries gifts such as Bedré Fine Chocolate, Chickasaw Press books, Mahota Textiles and Pendleton items.

Exhibit C is open Wednesday through Monday, 10am - 6pm.

Bricktown Water Taxi: 

Located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City’s entertainment district, Bricktown Water Taxi’s guided tours offer a unique viewpoint for all visitors! Riders get an up-close look at the canal’s many attractions, including historical monuments, colorful murals, and local landmarks. 

Water Taxi tours are 40 minutes long, launching from the main dock every 15-20 minutes from 10am - 10pm daily. Please be advised to bring adequate water and sunscreen/sun garments as the heat can be intense while on the canal.

Skydance Bridge: 

SkyDance Bridge, opened to the public in April 2012, is Oklahoma City’s landmark bridge. This pedestrian bridge stretches 380 feet long and stands 197 feet high. The bridge was inspired by Oklahoma’s state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher. The bridge is made of 412 tons of steel and is illuminated nightly by LED lights.

RIVERSPORT OKC: 

RIVERSPORT is a US Olympic & Paralympic Training Site – one of only a few in the nation – and regularly hosts national and international competition in both rowing and canoe/kayak. RIVERSPORT Rapids, Oklahoma City’s whitewater center, will serve as the Olympic venue for canoe slalom and kayak cross during the LA28 Olympic Games. Ready to discover your new favorite sport? RIVERSPORT offers rowing, kayaking, and surfing lessons to get you started. 

Day passes are available for purchase on RIVERSPORT website, with a discounted option for groups over 15 persons. It’s free to come into RIVERSPORT and watch the action, and daily parking is also free.

Red Earth Art Center: 

Red Earth Art Center is located in the south lobby of the BancFirst Tower in downtown Oklahoma City. A major component of the downtown non-profit Red Earth Art Center is the sales gallery, featuring original Native artwork both contemporary and traditional from throughout the United States. One of the goals of the non-profit organization is to provide Native artists a platform to sell their art to the public. 

The Art Center is open Monday through Friday, 10am - 5pm. 

Located at 100 N Broadway, the Art Center can be found in the South lobby of the BancFirst Tower (3.3 miles from OKANA)

Skydance Brewing Company:

Skydance Brewing Company is Oklahoma’s Native American-owned craft brewery. Our indigenous culture has taught us the importance of community. Therefore, we have taken on the important job of brewing great beer to be used to bring people together. Skydance Brewing Company started brewing its operations in 2018 and is now enjoyed across the state of Oklahoma. Located in Automobile Alley, and within walking distance to our fellow breweries Prairie Artisan Ales, Vanessa House, and Twisted Spike, and within blocks from the OKC Convention Center and the Paycom Center (home of the OKC Thunder.)

National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum:

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City is America's premier institution of Western history, art and culture. The Robert T. Stuart Native American Gallery and the Silberman Collection present more than 2,500 works of art, created by 190 Native American artists representing 55 different cultural and tribal backgrounds.
