The theme of Teaching & Learning Day Fall 2021 is Working Together Toward a More Virtual Seneca.
As we move toward a more virtual Seneca, what does success look like? This session will address this overarching question by featuring insights from international experts in teaching and learning, and words of advice from Seneca students.
We will explore how we can support each other moving forward using four interactive discussions:
What is working? What do we want to hold on to as we move forward?
Who is unheard? How do we ensure that nobody is left behind?
Are we ok? How can we teach in a way that values and sustains faculty and student health and well-being?
How do we connect? What opportunities arise through teaching and learning in a virtual space?
Come join in to hear what experts and members of your community are saying about these critical questions.
A video created by the T&L C team will feature insights from Flower Darby, Michelle Pacansky-Brock, Ken Steele and Seneca students. Everyone is warmly welcomed.
Flower Darby and Michelle Pacansky-Brock have previously joined us as keynote speakers:
"Small Teaching Online: Improving Student Engagement, Learning, and Assessment" by Flower Darby
“Humanizing Online Teaching" by Dr. Michelle Pacansky-Brock
Ken Steele is an expert on Post Secondary Education, read his bio on Eduvacation.
