The first step is to get your Theory Class Training. This is paid for by the company, and all you need to do is contact Melissa Fortenberry.

The second step is to get your DOT Physical set up by Melissa Fortenberry or Destiny White.

Destiny White: dwhite@tlwallace.com
After completing training and physical, you will need to take your permit test. You will need your DOT Medical Card, and you will need to study before hand. This is a difficult test, so you will need to study. Here are some useful tools to help:
Commercial Driver License Manual
YouTube - Pre/Post Trip Inspections, General Knowledge
Practice Apps - There are a lot, but one of the highest reviewed ones for each App Store are:
Apple - CDL Prep 2024 by ABC Android - CDL Prep Practice Test 2024
When you feel prepared, set up an appointment time at the DMV to take the permit test. You will need your Medical card.
Note: If you do not need air brakes, then you do not need to do that portion of the test, but you need to tell them at the start of the test.
After passing your permit test, it will take up to a couple of weeks for everything to process. After it is processed, you need to Tim Ervin for the Behind the Wheel Training and the Road Test.

Congratulations! Once you have completed all of the above, simply take your permit card back to the DMV to get your CDL.
