Problems launching TitleDriver for the first time? See: Installation page.
Overview:
TitleDriver can present up to four simultaneous texts on separate video outputs. Each text window is called a Display Window. Each Display Window can contain a different translation, using any font (typeface) that is installed on your computer. Generally, one Display Window occupies an entire video output, but it is possible to have two or more Display Windows appear on a single video output.
TitleDriver fully supports the unicode text format, which means that many special characters and non-Roman type scripts are available. All aspects of the text format and output can be user programmed. Each title can, if necessary, be programmed with a different format such as font, text size, and placement on screen. Chinese text can be displayed in vertical format, read from right to left.
Transitions are executed via sixteen hotkeys: either keyboard keys or clickable buttons. Each hotkey can be programmed to execute text fade-down and fade-up at a specific rate.
The program is free to use on any Mac OS computer, and includes all video output functionality. TitleDriver Online broadcast functions have monthly fees.
Broadcasting titles:
TitleDriver is able to broadcast title data to MacOS and Windows computers connected to the same local area network. See the page: Online broadcast
Display Window requirements:
In addition to the primary (Operator's) monitor, your computer will need an additional video output device for each Display Window you need to produce for your system. You will need an output adaptor that produces a signal format your projector(s) can accept. Some MacBook models have limits on the number of external video outputs they can produce.
