What ages do you care for?
We welcome children from infancy through preschool age. Our mixed-age environment encourages younger children to learn from older peers while fostering leadership and kindness in older children.
What is your daily routine like?
Our days are gentle and consistent, while It includes free play, guided learning activities, outdoor time, meals, and rest. We balance structure with flexibility so each child’s needs are met while still creating a sense of security and routine.
Do you follow a curriculum?
For our UPK program, Yes! We offer a play-based preschool curriculum created by Kayla that focuses on early literacy, math, creativity, and social-emotional development. Children learn through hands-on activities, exploration, and meaningful play. Children in our daycare program are provided with activities that will create a smooth transition into preschool.
What makes your program unique?
As a family-run daycare, we provide a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, loved, and valued. We focus on building strong relationships, nurturing curiosity, and creating joyful early learning experiences. Having 3 staff members allows us to create a small group setting with individualized and personal care.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open 7-5. Please contact us if you need specific scheduling accommodations. We’re happy to discuss what might work best for your family.
How do you handle communication with parents?
We believe communication is key! Parents receive regular updates, and we are always available to discuss your child’s day, progress, and any concerns. We value a strong partnership with families.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
We provide healthy meals and snacks, including breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks throughout the day. We partner with KidCare Nutrition which helps encourage nutritious options.
What is your discipline philosophy?
We use positive guidance to help children learn appropriate behaviors. This includes redirection, modeling, teaching problem-solving skills, and encouraging kindness and respect.
What is your sick policy?
To keep all children healthy, we ask that children stay home if they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, vomiting, or contagious illness. Specific guidelines will be provided upon enrollment.
Are you licensed?
We are a licensed in home preschool and daycare. We follow all state guidelines, including training in first aid, CPR, and Medication, and prioritize safety in every aspect of our program.
How many children are in your care?
Our program allows for 12 children with 2 being infants. We maintain small group sizes to ensure each child receives individualized attention, care, and support.
Do you offer outdoor play?
Yes! We believe outdoor time is essential for healthy development. Children have regular opportunities to play, explore, and enjoy fresh air. We also have a park across the street that we frequently visit.
