Welcome
My name is Tiffany Alexander and I have been working in Special Education for over 20 years. I am an exceptional teacher who has taught students aged Birth to 21 with and without disabilities. My experience ranges from low to high incidences and everything in between. I started as a paraprofessional at SPEED District #802. I worked my way up to becoming a Permanent Substitute teacher after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014 from Governor State University in University Park, IL. During this time, I also worked as a Behavioral Health Technician at Campagna Academy until 2017. Currently, I am in a student teaching program at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL to obtain my LBS1 endorsement licensure, to be completed by December 2023.
I would be a good candidate for a Special Education teaching position. I am a talented, compassionate, and committed teacher with various instructional strategies to keep students engaged. I have shown exceptional skills in creating an inclusive learning environment, fostering a positive classroom culture, and promoting student success. I am not only a dedicated educator but also passionate about working with students in special education. I can differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners by constantly seeking out new and innovative ways to teach.
