Modification of Matlab's PDE toolbox

The objective of this project was to develop a probabilistic matrix-inclusion model to calibrate the apparent elasticity tensor of a composite material. Thus, in this project, we have modified the Matlab's Partial Differential Equation (PDE) toolbox to study the non-separation of scale of the material. More precisely, the toolbox was modified to integrate random distribution of inclusions as well as its volume fraction. The modified toolbox allowed then investigating the mechanical "apparent" properties of the material from a probabilistic stand point.
