🎮 Week 5: Game – “Never Have I Ever”

Block I: 2 hours

🎯 Objective: Encourage students' oral participation based on historical events that affected their characters.

📝 Activities:

• Grammar Review 📘
  Use character-based conversations to reinforce grammar structures.
  
  

• “Never Have I Ever” Activity 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️
  Students sit in a circle.
  Each student says a sentence in English starting with:
  "Never have I ever..." related to their character.
  🗣️ Example: "Never have I ever… surrendered to the Spaniards" – Policarpa Salavarrieta.

If others share that trait with their character, they raise their hand and narrate the event.

🧠 Independent Work:

Prepare a creative sentence for the next session – an epitaph.

Block II: 2 hours

  How would the characters like to be remembered?
  
  

• Digital Poster Creation 🖥️

Use Canva or Genially to create a poster summarizing the legacy of the character.

Block I: 2 hours

🎯 Objective: Present group reflections, vote in specific categories, and recognize outstanding character interpretations.

📝 Activities:

  Groups of 3 students with characters that have few historical or thematic connections.
  
  

• Short Presentation Prep & Discussion 🎤
  Answer the following:
  How would your characters like to be remembered?
  What will they remember about the other characters in the reality show?
  Use historical context and character contributions to justify responses.
  Allow spontaneous conversations between teams to share views.
  
  

Block II: 2 hours

  Characters who showed humanity by making mistakes and learning from them.
