The Semiconductor Optoelectronics and Energy Devices Laboratory, SOED Lab, is led by Dr. Ching-Ho Tien in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tunghai University. The laboratory focuses on semiconductor optoelectronic materials, energy conversion devices, sensing platforms, and thin-film device integration, with research areas covering perovskite optoelectronic devices, solar cells, LEDs / micro-LEDs, oxide semiconductors, and gas / chemical sensors.

SOED Lab follows a materials–processes–devices–applications framework, integrating material design, thin-film fabrication, interface engineering, optoelectronic characterization, and device performance analysis to develop next-generation semiconductor optoelectronic, energy, and sensing technologies with improved efficiency, stability, and practical applicability.

半導體光電與能源元件實驗室（SOED Lab）由田青禾博士主持，隸屬於東海大學電機工程學系。本實驗室聚焦於半導體光電材料、能源轉換元件、感測平台與薄膜製程整合，研究方向涵蓋鈣鈦礦光電元件、太陽能電池、LED / micro-LED、氧化物半導體與氣體／化學感測器。

SOED Lab 以「材料—製程—元件—應用」為核心架構，結合材料設計、薄膜製備、界面工程、光電量測與元件性能分析，致力於發展具效率、穩定性與應用潛力的次世代半導體光電、能源與感測技術。
