Award Winning Cast and Crew

NATHAN AYOTTE (Mike Dillard), a junior, is ecstatic to be in this year’s production of Working! Nathan has appeared in several THS productions (Chicago, Working Title, and Bye Bye Birdie) and is thrilled to be playing Mike Dillard in this year’s musical! Nathan would like to thank Stagedoor Manor (Almost, Maine, Pirates of Penzance, Mary Poppins) and Scott Handley and Broadway Method Academy (Newsies, The Addams Family, Xanadu). Huge thanks to Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Mr. Bracksieck, Jerold, Andrea, and the entire cast and crew for their endless support. He would also like to thank his family for their love and encouragement.

MEDHA BHATNAGAR (Amanda McKenny), a sophomore, is thrilled to be a part of this year’s production of Working. This is her first year in the THeSpian club and she hopes to continue throughout her junior and senior years. She would like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Jerold, Andrea, and Mr. B for giving her the opportunity to be in this year’s play. She would also like to give additional thanks to the cast and crew for giving her a great time this year.

PAUL LITCHFIELD (Freddy Rodriguez), a freshman, is happy to be part of his first THS show. Favorite roles include Music Man (Winthrop), Oliver (Charley Bates), Madagascar (Skipper), Peter Pan (Slightly), Mary Poppins (Bert), Newsies (Jack Kelly) and Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour). In his spare time, he enjoys bass fishing, biking, sports, and playing guitar. Special thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Jerold and Andrea for working hard to have this musical possible this year. Enjoy the show!

ISSAC LYNE (Rex Winship), a junior, is more than excited to be a part of the Trumbull High School production of Working. Issac has been a part of the THS theater community since he was a freshman. He took part in the plays The Good Doctor (General Ivan) and Working Title. He also participated in the musical Chicago (Men’s Dance Ensemble). Issac has been obsessed with the art of performing and acting for years. He would like to thank Mrs.Spillane, Mrs.Bolan, Jerold, and Andrea for giving him the opportunity to come back to the THS theater community this year. He would also like to give a huge thanks to his Mom, Dad, and little sister Ava for their support and their uplifting spirits.

AVA MANCINI (Rose Hoffman), a senior, is thrilled to be in her fourth and final production on the THS stage! Past THS credits include: Bye Bye Birdie (Dance Ensemble), Radium Girls (Grace Fryer), Chicago (Dance Ensemble), The Good Doctor (Julia), Curtains (Dance Ensemble), and the 24 Hour Play-A-Thon. She has also been a part of the TYA productions of West Side Story (Margarita) and Shrek (Dance Ensemble). She has been a dancer for 15 years and would like to thank all of her past teachers for their unconditional support. She would also like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Jerold, Andrea, Mr. B, Mrs. Bolan and the entire cast and crew for their positivity, support, and for making this production possible!

GABBY PAVLOV (Terry Mason) is a sophomore, who is excited to be in her first “official” Trumbull High School musical due to Bye Bye Birdie’s cancellation. She has been in past shows of both TYA and TYA Jr. including West Side Story (Ensemble), Music Man Jr. (Eulalie), Annie Jr. (Orphan ensemble), and Sound of Music Jr. (Ensemble). Along with this, Gabby is also an active member of Chamber Singers at the high school. She would also like to extend her thanks to the cast and crew along with Mrs. Spillane who has helped to make this happen.

SAMUEL MILLER (Frank Decker, Tom Patrick) is a freshman and really excited to join the cast for this year’s production of Working. He’d like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Jerold, and Andrea for pushing him to be better and for all the work they’ve done, Mr. B and Mrs. Bolan for making sure things run smoothly, and the rest of the cast and crew for being so welcoming. Special thanks to his family for their love and support (in the arts and out), and to his friends for making him laugh and always standing by him (also for listening to his ramblings). To the seniors leaving this year, have fun in your future endeavors. To his brother, Shane, fly high in Vermont. To the whole cast, good luck!

AIDAN DEMSHAK (Eddie Jaffe, Raj Chadha), a sophomore, is excited to be performing in his first THS production. He was a Jet in the TYA production of West Side Story. He also spent three summers with TYA Jr. in roles that included Harold Hill (Music Man), Lt. Ward (Annie), and Kurt von Trapp (Sound of Music). He appeared in Center Stage Shelton productions including I Remember Momma, A Christmas Carol, Center Stage Christmas, Into the Woods Jr., and several Musical Theatre Workshops Jrs. Aidan also had the opportunity to appear in the New York Musical Theatre Festival with Center Stage Theatre Company (Westport). He thanks his family, friends, theatre mentors, and the amazing cast and crew for all their support.

SKYLAR CUMINOTTO-REIS (Sharon Atkins), is a sophomore at Trumbull High School.

RACHEL ARIANNA WEINTRAUB (Kate Rushton), senior, is excited to be back on the THS stage for her 4th (and final) year. Rachel is also THeSpians Co-President and has directed various productions at THS. Rachel trains and interns at Dance Molinari in NYC and continues to study voice in NY. Off- Broadway/Regional/THS: Cassie (A Chorus Line), Amber (Hairspray), Olive (Spelling Bee), Gingy (Shrek), Lana (Reddi High), Minnie Ma, (Bend in the Road), Nikki (Curtains), etc. Rachel can be seen on television, film, commercials, stage and hosting. Represented by Serendipity Entertainment. Thanks to Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Jerold, Andrea, cast, crew, and my family for everything.

JACOB HERMAN (Conrad Swibel, Anthony Coelho), a senior, is thrilled to be participating in his fourth musical at THS. Past credits include Curtains (Ensemble), The Good Doctor (Man, Kistunov), Chicago (Ensemble), and Working Title: An Evening of One Acts (Customer, Von Sochocky). He has also had the pleasure of being cast in two TYA productions, Shrek the Musical (Knight Ensemble) and West Side Story (Jet Ensemble). Throughout all of these performances, Jacob has been welcomed by an incredibly kind and talented community that he would like to thank for their effort and support alike. He would also like to give a special thanks to all of his friends and family for their continued love and support over the last four years!

JULIANA MARTINS (Roberta Victor) a junior, is thrilled to be part of her third musical production at THS! Juliana has been dancing for 14 years and adores being on stage. She studies at Rockwell Dance Center and is a co- captain for the THS dance team! She is currently in both Rockwell’s Senior Hip Hop and Pre-Professional modern dance company and would love to pursue dance as a career. Freshman year she played Annie in Chicago, and was the dance captain for Bye Bye Birdie last year! Juliana loves performing for her family and friends and is grateful for their unconditional support of her passions! She thrives under the spotlight and loves capturing the attention of her audience!

TALIA COOK (Candy Cottingham) a freshman, is so excited to be participating in her first musical production at Trumbull High School! She has had the privilege of performing in past TYA Jr. shows as Alana (Little Mermaid), Maud Dunlop (Music Man), Kate (Annie), and Marta (Sound Of Music). She feels so lucky to be able to work with this amazing cast and crew and would like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Mr. Bracksieck, Jerold, and Andrea for all working so hard to make this show a reality. Best of luck to everyone!

ELLA MILLER (Grace Clements), a senior, is thrilled to have the opportunity to be onstage at Trumbull High after last year's production was canceled. Ella has loved being a part of the musicals at Trumbull High: Bye Bye Birdie (Kim MacAfee), Curtains (Ensemble) and Chicago (Ensemble). Her other theatre credits include: Newsies (Splasher), The Addams Family (Wednesday Addams), The Little Mermaid (Adella), Xanadu (Kira), and Carrie (Ensemble) with Broadway Method Academy. Ella would like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Jerold, Andrea, Mrs. Bolan, Mr. B, and the cast and crew for being such amazing inspirations and supporting her throughout this experience. Lastly, Ella would like to give a huge shoutout to her amazing friends and family for their never ending love and encouragement.

KAY MEZA (Allen Epstein) a freshman, is so excited to be cast in Working. In years past, Kay has been in Cinderella (Stepmother) at Fairfield Center Stage, was cast in Legally Blonde (Elle) in Broadway Babies Show at Madison Middle School, Little Mermaid (Arista Mersister) with TYA Jr, Xanadu (Ensemble), Annie (Orphan), and High School Musical (Ensemble) at BMA, Music Man (Conductor/Farmer), Annie (Ensemble) at TYA Jr. Kay has also taken voice and dance for over 5 years. Kay thanks all of the people who have accepted them as they are and for being such a great support system. Special thanks to Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Mr. B, Jerold, and the cast and crew.

CAROLINE MARCHETTI (Delores Dante), is thrilled to be playing the role of Delores Dante in her final show as a senior at THS. Her THS Theatre credits include: Curtains (dance ensemble), Chicago (Velma Kelly), Bye Bye Birdie (Rose Alvarez). Caroline also performed in Broadway Method Academy’s production of The Addams Family (Morticia). Caroline has performed a number of songs from Mean Girls, Waitress, Jekyll & Hyde, Wicked, and more in CT and at a cabaret in NYC. She has been a dancer for 15 years, 10 of which have been at Rockwell Dance Center (formerly PACC). She is proud to announce that she will be receiving a BFA in Musical Theatre beginning Fall 2021. Caroline would like to give an extra thank you to her family, friends, Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Jerold, Andrea, and the entire cast and crew for all their support, hard work, and guidance.

SAM MILLER (Joe Zutty) would like to extend his thanks to his friends who, late in his freshman year, persuaded him to audition for cast in TYA’s Shrek the Musical (Big Bad Wolf). This experience introduced him to a theatrical world defined by many characteristics of devotion and closeness to all who are involved. His journey continued into the THS Fall Play, The Good Doctor and the spring musical, Chicago, where he participated as a crew member. The shows that followed included West Side Story (Shark) and Working Title: An Evening of One Acts (Arthur Roeder and Frank), the latter being his first lead role. Although last year’s musical Bye Bye Birdie (Harry MacAfee) was unfortunately cancelled, he continues to embody the energy of older characters through Joe.

JACK ALLEN (Utkarsh Trajillo), a senior, is extremely excited to be performing in his fourth musical production at Trumbull High School! In the past, he was part of Curtains (dance ensemble), Chicago (dance ensemble), as well as Bye Bye Birdie (Hugo Peabody). He would like to send a big thank you to Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Mr. Bracksieck, Jerold, and Andrea for giving him such wonderful opportunities all throughout high school to perform on stage each year. He would also like to thank his friends and family for their constant support!

MIA BEKECH (Theresa Lui) is thrilled to be in her third production with THS Musicals! Some past credits include THeSpian’s Fall Play, Working Title: An Evening of One Acts, Radium Girls (Miss Wiley/Mrs. Roeder) and Soap Opera (Washing Machine), TYA’s West Side Story (Somewhere Soloist), THS Musicals’ Chicago (Ensemble) and Bye Bye Birdie (Gloria Rasputin), and TYA’s Shrek: The Musical (Ensemble/ Dragon Singer). Mia would like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Andrea, Jerold, and Mr. B for putting on this amazing production! Best of luck to the cast and crew!

CATIE WISNESKI (Maggie Holmes), a senior, is thrilled to be playing Maggie in Working! Catie’s past credits include: Children’s Ensemble (Children of Eden), Jane Banks (Mary Poppins), Children’s Ensemble (The Little Mermaid), Liesl Von Trapp (Sound of Music Jr.), New Rochelle Ensemble (Ragtime), Robbin’ Hood Ensemble (Curtains), Teen Fiona (Shrek), Ensemble (Chicago), Anybodys (West Side Story), and Ursula Merkle (Bye Bye Birdie). She’d like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Jerold, Andrea, and the Mamas for taking a chance on her and giving her this opportunity. Additional thank you’s go out to her lovely theater family (both biological and not) for always supporting her. The last four years in THeSpians have been magical, and she wouldn’t trade them for the world.

TIM SPILLANE (Ralph Werner), a 9th grader, is excited to make his debut on the THS stage. Past credits include Curley in Peter Pan and Hans in Frozen, Jr at Hillcrest MS and numerous productions at Broadway Bootcamp including the Cat in the Hat (Seussical, Jr) and Grimsby (The Little Mermaid, Jr). Tim is a member of the THS Freshman Chorus and Mens' Ensemble and has studied piano for seven years. I would like to thank my family for helping me all these years. And I would also like to thank DaBaby. Less Go!

ELLA COOK (Charlie Blossom), a junior at Trumbull High and second year participant in THS Musicals, is beyond excited to play the role of Charlie Blossom. In years past, Ella has had the honor of playing Alice (Bye Bye Birdie), Grace (Annie), Luisa (Sound of Music), and ensemble in both West Side Story and Shrek: The Musical. Ella would like to thank the amazing cast and crew, as well as Mrs. Spillane, Jerold, Andrea, Mrs. Bolan, and Mr. B for coming together during these hard times to create such a wonderful show. Break a leg everyone!

ISABELLA MERCADO (Featured vocalist)a sophomore, is very excited for her 3rd Trumbull High School Production. Some of her favorite past productions include TYA Jr’s The Music Man, TYA’s West Side Story, THS’s 2019 Fall Play, Radium Girls and Soap Opera and THS’s Bye Bye Birdie. Isabella is happy to continue pursuing her love for music and theatre at Trumbull High. Isabella would like to thank Mrs Spillane, Mrs Bolan, Mr B, the cast and crew, and her family for always supporting her. Break a leg to everyone to put on this great production!

NORA WATSON (Featured Vocalist) a freshman, is beyond excited to perform in her first THS Musical. Some favorite roles include Westport Community Theater’s The Miracle Worker (Helen Keller), Curtain Call’s Ragtime (Young Girl), Something Rotten (Ensemble), Mamma Mia (Ensemble) Fairfield Center Stage’s A Christmas Carol (Martha Cratchit/Assistant Stage Manager)The Secret Garden (Ensemble), The Downtown Cabaret’s Hunchback of Notre Dame (Congregant) and many more. She is thrilled to be back on stage after a long year with little performing. Many thanks to the production staff for all the endless support and this amazing experience!

MADDY MINELLA (Featured vocalist) a junior, is beyond excited to participate in her third show at Trumbull High School! She would like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Andrea and Jerold for giving her the opportunity to be a part of this incredible show. She’d also like to thank her friends and family for all their support. Maddy has been a part of Chicago (ensemble) and Bye Bye Birdie (ensemble) through Trumbull High School. She previously starred in Annie (Pepper), The Wizard of Oz (The Cowardly Lion), and School Of Rock (ensemble). She is so excited to have been able to be a part of Working, especially through these unique times. She would love to wish her cast and crew mates much success!

ELLIOT BELLO (Ensemble, Allen Epstein understudy),is thrilled to be part of this year’s production of working. With this year being unlike any other, Elliott was more than excited to have the opportunity to perform in the ensemble. This production of working is Elliott’s second performance as part of THS THeSpians, and he’s been involved with musical theatre dating back to TYA Shrek in 2018. Elliott would like to thank Jerold, Andrea, Mrs, Spillane, Mrs Bolan, Mr. Bracksieck, and all the production staff, for bringing out the best in him.

ANABELA MARTINS (Ensemble), is so excited for her first musical at Trumbull High School! She has always participated in lots of singing activities such as the Hillcrest Choraleers, in which she has had 3 solos. She used to participate in dance and wanted to continue to include the arts as she entered high school as a freshman. Also, she does soccer at Trumbull High and is the freshman goalie. Anabela is super excited to have a great experience Working this year!

ABBEY SOUTAR (Ensemble),a junior, is beyond thrilled to be a part of another THS Musical production! In years past, she has been in the dance ensemble for Chicago and Bye Bye Birdie. She has been a dancer for 12 years, 9 of which have been at Rockwell Dance Center. Abbey is in the Pre-Pro Modern Company and Ballet Company at Rockwell. She is so excited to finally perform onstage again! She would like to thank her friends and family for giving her the love and support to help her to continue doing what she loves. Abbey would also like to thank the cast and crew of the musical for making it all possible.

JESSIE FLAM (Stage Manager) a junior, is so happy to be stage managing the musical at THS this year. Previous THS productions include; Chicago (assistant stage manager), Working Title (assistant stage manager/ light board operator), and Bye Bye Birdie (assistant stage manager). Jessie would like to thank her Mom, Dad, and brother for getting her interested in theatre. She would also like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, Mr. B, Everett, and crew for their support this year and for welcoming her to the “dark side”, she can’t wait for what future THS productions have in store.

KRISTA HALVERSON (Assistant Stage Manager), a freshman, is excited to be a part of her first THS musical. She has been a part of other musicals such as Peter Pan Jr. (lighting manager) and was about to be in Frozen Jr (lighting manager). She would like to thank Mr. B, Mrs. Spillane, and Mrs. Bolan for welcoming her this year.

LIVI GOTTSCHALL (Production Assistant) a senior, is extremely thrilled to be a part of her final THS musical. Past THS productions include Curtains (Ensemble), Chicago (Ensemble and asst. musical director), 24 Hour Playathon (Writer), Working Title: An Evening of One Acts (Director), and as a production assistant for The Good Doctor and Bye Bye Birdie. She would like to thank Mrs. Bolan, Mrs. Spillane, Mr. B, and Jerold for being incredible mentors that she will never forget. She extends her thanks to the cast and crew for their hard work and commitment to this production and for always being such a supportive community.

JACK MOCKER (Assistant Lighting Designer) is excited to be part of Working, his second musical as a lighting designer. Previous Trumbull High School productions include: Bye Bye Birdie (Assistant Lighting Designer), Curtains (lighting crew), The Good Doctor (lighting crew), Chicago (lighting crew), and Working Title: An Evening of One Acts (Lighting designer), as well as other local productions. He would like to thank alumni James Gallo for showing him the ropes of lighting crew, Mr. Bracksieck and Everett for being great mentors to him, Nathan for being for working alongside him for this production, and his friends and family for their endless support. Jack is proud to announce that he will be receiving a BFA in technical design and production in the fall of 21’. He congratulates the entire cast and crew of Working on another great show.

NATHAN AUTEN (Assistant Lighting Designer), a junior, is ecstatic to be part of another THS Musical. In the past, he has been a part of the crew for the THS production of Chicago, The Good Doctor, Working Title, and Bye Bye Birdie. He would like to thank Mr. B, Everett, and his fellow Assistant Lighting Designer Jack Mocker for helping him to learn everything he knows about lighting design, as well as to the whole crew fall productions he has been a part of for making every moment memorable and fun.

ARIELLE SANCHEZ (Properties manager), is a senior at Trumbull High School

ELENI WAGNER(Wing Manager), a senior, is thrilled to be a part of her final show at Trumbull High School. Previously Eleni has worked on Curtains (Props Crew), Chicago (Wing Manager), Bye Bye Birdie (Wing Manager), 24 Hour Playathon (Run Crew), Working Title: An Evening of One Acts (Run Crew), and The Good Doctor (Run Crew) at Trumbull High. Eleni has also participated in Trumbull Youth Association productions such as Shrek The Musical (Crew), and West Side Story (Crew). She would like to thank Mr. Bracksieck, Jill Clark, and Gabi Sigona for being inspiring mentors. She would also like to thank the entire cast and crew for creating a fun and supportive environment that is committed to hard work.

CAROLINE RYAN (Wing Manager), a senior, is so excited to close out her fourth and final year being a part of THS productions as a wing manager. Caroline performed in Trumbull High’s production of Curtains (2018), and then continued as a member of the run crew in Chicago (2019) and Bye Bye Birdie (2020). She would like to thank Mrs. Spillane, Mrs. Bolan, and Mr. B. for creating such an amazing journey for these four years, and would like to thank her fellow members of the run crew for being so welcoming and supportive. Caroline would like to congratulate all of the cast and crew on yet another amazing performance, and wish them the best of luck for the future!
