Hello! 

My name is Hossna Wahedi and I will be teaching 6th Grade CORE ELA and History at Thornton Middle School this 2023-2024 school year. I've been with Fremont Unified for over 20 years, as a student during my entire childhood, and now as a teacher. I have experience in teaching 6th grade at Chadbourne Elementary, 3rd Grade at Durham Elementary, and 1st grade at a local private school. Each grade level has a special place in my heart, but I absolutely loved teaching sixth grade last year and couldn't wait to continue this year. 

Some things I enjoy in my free time are watching all types of movies, ranging from Cool Hand Luke to Encanto, spending time with my family, exploring new places, reading or listening to audiobooks, and going to the gym...sometimes. 

A not so interesting fact about me is I don't like tomatoes on my sandwiches.
